Unfortunately, the cover to the swimming pool collapsed because of the weight of the snow. We spent a good amount of time helping Zoltán remove the cover and prepare the pool for more snow and ice. We were rewarded with a delicious homemade Hungarian meal from our neighbors. We planed to get a lot of housework done today but with full bellies and the fire that we are getting ready to build...well....I think a nap and a cup of tea is all we will have the energy for.
This is the house we live in. We live on the bottom floor (hidden behind the fence).

Awesome! Seattle has not had a single flake this winter--so far! January was the warmest on record. Had a note from Adam Bashaw over the weekend and he too was shoveling--about like yours. He is in Virginia Beach, VA

Thank you, Jan! We are still getting snow which is rare these days for Budapest. I am hoping for more.
